How information is handled.

This policy explains the information Trade on Ideas uses to operate accounts, marketplace activity, moderation, notifications, and support.

This operational privacy notice should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before public commercial launch and adapted to the business entity, hosting regions, and applicable jurisdictions.

Information collected

Account identity from authentication, including email and authentication identifiers.
Profile information you provide, such as display name, username, avatar, and biography.
Testing roles, domains, expertise, preferred testers, mission assignments, structured feedback, credit transactions, XP, and product improvements.
Product submissions, screenshots, creator updates, benefits, moderation history, and support messages.
Waitlist activity, non-payment pledges, receipts, read-state, and notification events.
Technical logs and security information produced by hosting and authentication providers.

How information is used

Operate accounts and marketplace features.
Display public profiles and approved products.
Calculate consistent aggregate marketplace metrics and prioritize relevant testing missions.
Send lifecycle emails and in-app notifications.
Moderate content, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

Public information

Approved products, creator display names, usernames, avatars, biographies, founding benefits, and published product updates may be public. Mission feedback, tester perspectives, creator responses, aggregate reputation, and shipped improvements on live products are also public. Email addresses, private testing-profile inputs, credit balances and transactions, private drafts, individual pledge amounts, waitlist records, notification state, and support requests are not public.

Service providers and disclosure

Supabase provides database, authentication, storage, and server functions. Hosting and email providers may process the minimum information needed to deliver their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect safety and rights, or as part of a properly managed business transfer.

Retention and security

Records are retained while needed to provide the service, maintain audit and security integrity, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Technical and organizational controls—including row-level access policies—reduce risk, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Edit profile information and manage waitlists and pledges from your account.
Mark notifications read and withdraw active non-payment pledges.
Delete your account and associated cascading marketplace data through account settings. A one-way email digest is retained to prevent repeated starter-credit grants after account recreation.
Submit privacy access, correction, deletion, or objection requests through Contact. Applicable rights depend on jurisdiction.

Children and changes

The service is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to data processing. Policy changes will update the displayed version date, and material changes may receive additional notice.
